The Human Behind the Uptime.

Hi, I’m Fede.

If you look at my LinkedIn, you’ll see a Principal SRE with over 20 years of experience in Cloud/DB Architecture and DevOps. You’ll see a career built on solving complex problems, ensuring reliability.

But a resume is just a list of execute permissions. It’s not the Kernel.

Who am I really? I am a husband, a father, and a lifelong tech geek. I am a Yogi-in-training, currently working towards my teacher certification to bring the stillness of the mat into the chaos of the server room. While I don't call myself a musician, I have a deep passion for singing and playing the piano, it’s where I find my own harmony when the noise of the world gets too loud.

For years, I wore my job title like armor. I believed my value was measured strictly by my productivity and the uptime of the systems I managed.

The Reboot I didn't wait for a system crash. I took a conscious pause, a "maintenance window" for my own life, to reflect deeply on who I was outside of work.

During that time, I discovered that Identity ≠ Role.

I realized that the principles I used to build resilient software could be applied to build a resilient life. I became passionate about Non-Violent Communication (NVC) not just as a tool, but as a necessary protocol for debugging human interactions and inner dialogue.

Together with my wife, I created Equanima because I believe you shouldn't have to choose between being a successful engineer and being a healthy, balanced human. Whether we are talking about Kubernetes clusters or your nervous system, the goal is the same: Resilience.

(P.S. If you see a broccoli wearing sunglasses around here, that’s just the Tech Broccoli, my co-pilot and Chief Wellness Officer. He reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously). 🥦
