Why I Don’t Offer Group Fitness Sessions

Not group workouts, not fitness workshops.
I’ve been asked more than once, and every time the answer lands in the same place: I don’t want to waste your time or your money.
Because the truth is simple, even if it’s uncomfortable to hear: one hour together will not change your life.
It can make you feel better, yes. You move, you sweat, you reconnect for a moment with your body, and that moment is real. But then you go back home, back into your days, your rhythms, your habits… and everything that actually shapes your life is still untouched.
And this is where things slowly fall apart.
Not immediately, not in a dramatic way. At the beginning there is motivation, there is energy, there is even a sense that this time it might be different.
But what you are trying to sustain is not part of your life, it’s something you added on top.
And the things you add on top are always the first to go.
Most people think the problem is consistency, or discipline, or willpower, it’s not.
The problem is FIT.
If something doesn’t fit your life, it will not stay.
Not because you are not capable, but because you are trying to adapt yourself to something that was never designed for you.
Group sessions, by their nature, have to work for everyone. They need a structure, a pace, a common direction. And this is exactly why they don’t really work for anyone in the long term.
Because you are not standard.
Your energy changes during the week, your body responds in its own way, your timing is yours, your resistance moves depending on the phase you are in. Some days you can give more, some days less, and both are part of the process.
But when you step into something that asks you to match a predefined rhythm, you start disconnecting from that internal signal. At the beginning you push through it, because it feels right to keep up. Then slowly it becomes effort, then friction, then distance.
And at some point, you stop.
Not because you failed, but because it was never truly yours.
This is where the Equanima Pulse method begins from a completely different place: not from the workout, not from the plan, but from your real life.
From how your days actually look, from the energy you have when you wake up, from what is realistically sustainable for you, not for someone else.
Instead of adding another layer, we build something that already belongs to you, something that can move with you, adapt with you, stay with you.
There is no fixed structure to follow, no external pace to keep, no need to force yourself into a shape that doesn’t match you.
And I’m not interested in giving you something that feels good for a moment and disappears after a few weeks.
I’m interested in what remains.
Because I’m not here to entertain you, I’m here to change how you live your life.
And when your life actually changes, I want to be part of that turning point.
And that is why I don’t do group fitness.
